Depending on where you live, a title is about as useful as a Type1 radiator cap.....in NH....if it is over 11 years old or older they ask for a bill of sale and ignore the title.....

If he's the rightful owner, he can use the VIN to get a replacement title. If he bought it without a title, he'll have to go back to the last legitimate title holder. He may get someone to say they've junked it and get a salvage title.

if his name is on the title to begin with, yes

If he bought it without a title, he'll have to go back to the

who can say, on second thought, I want it back.

He may get someone to say they've junked

the only people that can do that in Wash. is tow truck companies and wrecking yards.

Washington law sucks on cars with no titles
