find a ditch, back into it. there ya go.

To pop a wheelie... build big huge motor.. get super heavy clutch, bulletproof transmission, tough CV axels, and then you need to worry about the front suspension being in good shape.

I think you should buy a crotch rocket.. it would be cheaper than spending the money to make your car pop a wheelie.

For real? I mean, you post the silliest questions sometimes. I can't tell if you're trolling or not.

Don't forget you need to weld the framehorn seems and sturdy the framehorns with a "preload" brace. Search for "Käfer Cup brace" or CSP brace. Also see

I recommend a Gene Berg GB643 intermediary tranny mount, too.

If you don't strengthen the framehorns, you'll bend them and your engine won't sit level anymore.

Ya gotta consider he's only 14 year old! Drop a late model Porshe 911 engine in and you'll do wheelies until the axels snap.

Take the lead out of your sorry ass and bolt it to the rear bumper.

Drain all of your gas except about a quart so it won't weigh the front end down. Along the same line of thinking, remove the spare tire from the front and put it behind the rear seat. Remove the hood and front fenders. Get some 12" wheels from a Ford Fiesta and get some adapters from a wheel shop to run them on the rear. Inflate both front tires to about 80 PSI, preferably with helium. Adjust driver seat so that it is as far back as it'll go while still allowing you to reach the gas and clutch pedals. Remove the passenger seat. Put the car in reverse and accelerate backwards up to about 20 mph. Depress the clutch, shift into first while still rolling backwards, rev the engine up to about 4500 RPM, and dump the clutch while simultaneously flooring the gas pedal and pushing backwards in your seat as hard as you can while yanking back on the steering wheel. Look out of the front windshield for a great view of the sky for about one second while biting down on your teeth with your tongue pulled back away from them so that you don't bite it off when the front end comes smashing down. Depress the brake to come to a full stop. Put on the parking brake and turn the engine off. Get out and collect the pieces of your car that are within 20 feet of you. Turn on your cell phone and call a tow truck. Oh yeah, be sure there's someone there to snap a picture at the point where you're dumping the clutch and flooring the gas, because if the front wheels actually do leave the ground, they'll only do it once. Now, wasn't that fun? :-D

Heheh.....I hope you're not serious about the wheelie thing. It will cost you at least $8000 to turn your 69 into a wheelie machine. Crotch rocket = $3000 - $6000 for many more wheelies.

To pop a wheelie you need two things.

Power.

Traction.

You'll need nearly 200 hp, more helps. To get that you'll need a big engine, or a turbo, or both. Start with a 2165 and run a T4 turbo with a Holley 600.

Traction, well, chances of you getting the traction you need on the street. That means take it to the track. On the track you can add slicks to make all the difference.

Nah, you can do it by getting 3 or 4 big people to jump up and down on your rear bumper when you pop the clutch.
