The land of the cheap Bug parts... I just spent US$120 in a humongous box full of parts I now think wont fit in the alloted weight I have on the plane back to Chile, Friday :_)

I bought: a front nose clip, 4 drums, all rubber for hood, engine cover and engine tin to body, a complete exhaust, a couple of peashooters, both tie rods complete with ends and nuts, the exhaust atachment kit and a gas pump.

Uf... It weigths arpoound 80 pounds. I think I will have to pay around US$20 extra for excess weight, but still come cheaper that buying this same things in Chile, plus, neither the drums nor the front nose clip can be found there at all... The same box would be at least US$300 in chile.

Sonia is going to kill me...

COOL!.....Congrats.

Sonia will get over it soon............really.

Great do they also sell original VW black outside rear mirrors from plastic ? I think they are the same of the 1993 till 1996 Fusca model ?

Something nice I hope, like some heat exchangers or a master cylinder!

Got home. Declared all the parts at customs and they waived taxes (less than US$50 to pay) and got Sonia some nice presents... She did not hit me that hard :)
