they have a rebuild kit in their magazine for around $250, is it good quality? anyone have any experiances with their engine parts?

Hi.I'm sure that the parts will be servicable.Just remember,if you're lucky,you get what you pay for.Having said that I'll add that most times J.C.Whitney parts have been fine,sometimes even very good.Once ordered a 40 horse muffler on clearance(hence vg price).Expected…

When rebuilding an engine buy the parts as needed. You may not need everything in the kit. The best thing is to dismantle it and check/measure 'wear' parts. Then, order the req'd shims, bearings etc. It's not something you want to cut corners on...
