Remember me? I havn't been around much this year,
Anyway I have a question, can a Karrman Ghia body be put on a beetle chassis? I remember that they're soposed to be compatible but that there's some problem....or not?

KG pan is wider. Won't fit.

You can as long as you change the floorpan. The Karmann Ghia floorpan is wider than the Beetle one.
And I'm trying to sell a perfectly good 67 beetle pan, rolling and ready for body :D

hmmmm....... OK how about a Type 3 fastback body? I've got a pretty solid,'66 pan with nothing to do with it, and I'm not sure I want another beetle,I'm checking out my options.

Mount an engine in and put a propeller to the rear end of the crank. Revs to 3000 and drive it to chile... Might take a while though.
lol.
I actually asked a friend who works on a shipping company to get me a quote yesterday :) promised to call back...
He said I should get it in a box, though...
