little OT: Bunnies and cats and Puma

We have mountain lions here also. The bunny story was a real life horror story, not something which was planned, foreseen or could be stopped. An african lion can easily kill a human with a swipe so approaching it in its' compound and taking it away from it was impossible. Also, impossible to shoot a small rabbit being cradled and licked by a lion laying down without hitting the lion. These are wild animals. It was a true horror story for her and became a lesson on what "not" to do. Her Puma is trained to walk on a leash so that is why I will be using her for the photos. We have a llama to keep unwanted animal away also (works good for the goats).

licked by a lion laying down without hitting the lion.

******** I can see where that would be very *difficult*, but I'm sure with my 22 & scope I could find an angle to make the shot sooner or later. People that have animals need to learn to be responsible for them! ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver"

Just consider the horror story a life lesson and one that was most likely well and truly learned. I know I've learned from it and all I did was read about it a long time after the fact!
