Anyone else getting a "502" subscription expired when trying to access RAMVA with that news server?

Nevermind. :-) I forgot that they're converting over to pay-only on

always worked well, and the price they are
I'll keep that in mind as an option. Almost scary how much faster my ISP's news server allows me to check and download messages, though. If it's at least as close to reliable as individual was then I'll probably stick with it. Only thing is I won't be able to use my ISP's server from work, but that's probably a good thing anyway. :-)

they were going to end free service?
Yes April 1st was the cut-off date.
I got the error message too, then logged on to their site, registered with Firstgate (German equivalent to PayPal) and paid up. Automatic refresh every year, 10 bucks a year.
Started working instantly.
