All of the bug's are gone now. The 77 just left with the new owner. I have the 71 in a local friends garage and the 66 in my brothers garage.
The 71 will become a railbuggy if play money allows it to. The 66 will become a baja bug unless someone wants to "save" it.
4play (@\|/@)(.\~/.)So, I was cleaning out the inside of the car and noticed what look like convertible pan supports...(the ones that include the jack points) Did you build your rail out of a vert? Just curious...
Also, what did the driveshaft/struts come from? :)

LOL... The pan supports came with the car when I got it. As did the drive shaft. Hummm I forgot to put the side steps off of a pickup truck in there which came with the car too. The strut springs came out of a super around DC. I was able to sell off the disc brakes & spindles that were on it.
The rail I didn't build. I got it almost the way you saw it.
BTW I think there is a box of parts that didn't get put in... I'll see what's in there and let you know. If so you can pick it up on your next trip down...
