Paint Quandary

What's the method for painting the area behind the engine air grill - the one on the body, not on the hood?

(Do you have to cut out the bottom piece, prep and paint it, and then put it back in??)

Those who are *very* fussy do indeed take the body apart to paint it.

The factory had a guy who sprayed right thru the grill. Good enough for them - good enough for me:-)

Go to Ace Hardware and buy a cheap airbrush and a compressed air canister. Stick it down there. Do it. Repeat every six months until you don't care. Some people (moi) paint the area flat-black.

************* Yeah; when this guy was in line for brains he thought they said "train" & left to get a ticket...
*********** I usually just carefully tape off the grill, & load it up with semi-flat black (spray can). Looks better than flat black; dosen't show up flaws like gloss. ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver"
