You might want to reinforce that when you do the repair, as it apparently was overstressed and maybe still is don't know if it was caused by P.O. or current owner! BTW - check your computer clock - you're posting from the future.

I inspected the floor pan on my 73 Thing. It looks healthy except for cracks around the seat tracks. Can these be welded or should the pan be replaced. The longest cracks are six to eight inches between the tunnel and the seat tracks.
