I was pulling my 1979 bug with my RV and it felt strange so I pulled over & saw about a 1/4 mile or less of skid marks in the road. My bug did not appear to have the emergency brake engaged. It was still in Neutral. Brake pressure seemed to be ok BUT IT WILL NOT START??? any idea as to what it is that would effect my engine?

What does this mean? Doesn't crank? Cranks but doesn't fire up?
Is this bone stock engine with FI?
Were skid marks made by the rear tires, not front? How did you get the car to roll again? Was it a braking problem?
