Radio Shack Voltage Inverter FS

Allows use of 12 volt radio in 6 volt system. Caution - this will not store presets on a modern system as you'd need 2 power sources. Works fine on manual tune systems though. I was planning to use 2 in my 63 bus but found an old Pioneer stereo that will work just fine with the other one I have. I don't think these are available any longer from Radio Shack. $15 plus mail

Hey, I've got one lying on a shelf too! I had a 12V RAD. SHACK radio in my dash, but switched it for a SAPPHIRE I 6V one recently. Now I've got all the 12V bits in a box... converter, radio, equalizer, cassette playback unit. I used to have ALL of them in the car at one time but that was when I was in school. Now I want the more classic dash appearance.
