I got one I think is made by Johnson Controls from Autozone branded as a Duralast. Hopefully this one lasts a long time. I wasn't entirely sure the old battery was defective but I couldn't find a purchase date in my log book and I was tired of charging it up. Of course, it will help if I actually drive the Bug around a bit more than I have this last year.
