Yes, for 73 & 74 Swedish models.
I also had them on my 73 super in Germany, stumped me for a few minutes but so did the stock front disc brakes.

So I wonder if the Mexican and Brazilian Beetles have self adjusting rear brakes then?
Not that I know of, unfortunately. Why not replace with discs? ;)
