Does anyone know where to get a decal for the dash (between the light and wiper switches) that has the shift pattern on it? my 67 had one, was removed for resto. the decal was black with white or silver print, and was oval shaped.
thanks troy

Never seen a '67 or earlier bug with a shift pattern sticker... I just looked in my '67 owner's manual, and the photos there do not show a shift pattern sticker... My '67 did not have this sticker, and there was no evidence (sticky stuff) that it had one... I am not absolutely sure, but I am pretty positive '67 (and earlier) didn't come with any indication of the shift pattern any where in the car other than in the owner's manual...
Sticker you are describing actually sounds like a sticker for a '68 or later that would go on the ash tray since the ash tray front in those cars was black plastic... West Cost Metric does sell such a decal, but it does not appear to be oval.
