Signal Changers/Hazard Lights, issues with

Sep 14, 2004 1 Replies

I have a 72 SB and when I engage the signal changers (either direction) or the Hazard lights I got a solid light (green for the changers and a red for the hazard) the two red lights (the oil and the other) come on when the key engages the electrical before starting.

So far I've replaced the two small bulbs in the front blinkers to no effect, I've even tried replacing the relay but it did not help. However, I put the old relay back in and when I got home I started checking for bad connections and corrosion. I found one bulb that was suspect, and broke another bulb in the process.

My big question is, after cleaning and checking fuses as well as replacing the two front blinker bulbs, IF I still have no blinky and just solid lights what could possibly be the issue?

Check for 12V on the flasher. Bad fuse connections are most likely cause.
