I know you are supposed to set the timing on this with the thing running and with a timing light, but is there anyone who has an 050 distrib. with timing set properly, who can tell me exactly where it fires when turning the crank by hand ie. not running.
Is it tdc - 5, 7.5, or 10 advance, or what? I'd just like to know where it should be set for a best guess when I don't have a timing light that works very well in bright sunlight.
I have a stock 1600 dp but with the 050 distr. and Kadron 2x40mm carbs. - stock cam.
