Timing a 40hp

Anyone out there in RAMVA land have a 40 hp with a two-notch pulley and the big stock distributer? I need to know what notch you set your timing to statically. Or does anyone know what those two notches represent? It is supposed to tbe the original pulley.

7.5 deg and 10 deg BTDC. Use the 10 deg (right hand) notch unless you need less advance to counter pinging under load.
