I bought a 2004 Touareg and it was shod with Falken tires - very noisy, the noise sounded like rear end noise, so I took it to the dealer and he said it was the tires! So I got some Michelin Latitude Tour for a cool grand (ouch!) but they work great. No noise and good road handling. I'm thinking of entering an autocross (solo) event to try them out. Has anyone done this? I'm especially lookin' to beat up on some Volvo Cross Countrys :)

It's only aircooled when the A/C is broken and the windows are down.
