The military uses/used just such a bag. Check at a military surplus store, they'll have lots of cool stuff for you off-roaders, too. The only problem with the bag is will let your tools rust if it gets wet. I save all those dessicant packs and throw them in my toolboxes. The best dessicant packs come the the NBC suits, but the ones from pills and shoes work good, just use more of them.

If you've got feeler gauges, may as well carry an extra set of new points, too. Other crap I lug around, other than mentioned: New cap, new rotor, clutch cable, grease, brake fluid, Tools-knive, hammer, wire strippers & connectors, zip ties, spare lug nuts & studs, flashlight, backup sidarm, the club(doubles as a weapon in hand to hand combat).
