They just stopped working , I replaced the 8amp fuse, but still no luck. Any tips on fixing this are very appreciated.

Check the wiring harnesses for the taillight assemblies in the back of the car. You might have a flakey connection at one or both. I remember on my car, an '84, that the rear lights share a common ground wire. HTH

But the rear signal lights aren't on the tailgate. First thing I'd check is the bulb failure sensor.
