1991 Volvo 740 Turbo

I bought a '94 940SE Turbo Diesel Estate (my first Volvo) about 5 months ago. I'm now a Volvo addict.

Many of us do, I've got an '87, that seems to be the most common year, at least around me. I see loads of them running around.

I have one. It is my favorite car. I know that the purist will crucify me but this car has been now severely modified. It puts out over 250hp at the wheels which is not unusual at all. The project is still open. See

Hey Crazy Dog, that means you have the best of the Turbodiesels as your engine has hydraulic tappets and a cambelt tensioner other than the water pump. I suspect that you also have an intercooler.

I have seen your site and some of your project cars, they are ALL my favorite. Problem is, I need garage space so I can actually have a project car and a road car at the same time.

I believe that if it means going to the boneyard or modifying the car to bring new life to it, I'm all for it! ( modifying the car, of course!)
