After many years but few kilometre's of faithful service I am selling my
1990 740 Turbo . 210.000 Ks 80.000 in 11 years mainly between capital cities.All Synthetic oils in the Tranny and engine serviced every 8.000k with new filter Iridium plugs timing belt and such are all done Bilsteins on the front and heavy springs on the back .Redone dizzy and leads etc.6 hydro wheels 5 perfect and one slightly scraped . New .Michelins pilot 3 tyres only 1000 klm almost Never had an accident. Brass radiator . I am in Melbourne Australia and my car has not a hint of rust unlike my sons new model Ford Falcon Tinted windows and rear sun screen with original rear air I am retired and enjoy doing the little bits around the car so it is spoilt . I just hope I am not making a bad move selling it . Not thrashed as I have never had a point against my licence in Millions of klm of professional and private driving . I need a wagon so it's a V70 Aktiv and I know nothing about them . Like where do you change the transmission oil from where is the out bolt and where is the in bolt or does it have a dip stick ? I am picking it up next week so I need to know what to look for if any one can tell me please . I am totally ignorant of any of the workings of the V70 2004 except my wife has a s40 t4 which is the same basic lay out . I do hope it is tougher as the S40 T4 seems a light weight car goes well but too light in the struts . jon5707@bigpond if you are interested please .
