I am about to purchase a new vehicle. Given the recent surge in the price of oil, fuel economy is a large factor in my decision, second only to performance. I am interested in a 2005 Volvo S40 TD FWD.
It's competition (all similarly priced):
- 2004-05 Mini Cooper S
- 2005 Honda Civic Si
- 2000 BMW 328i
- 2001-02 Audi TT Quattro
What I am looking for:
- Someone to point out the superior qualities of a Volvo S40 T5 FWD
- Or: someone to suggest another vehicle of similar performace/fuel economy/price range
