My 440 diesel has terminal gearbox problems, but having just replaced the head, the engine is good. Does anyone know if the head would fit a mid-1999 S40 1.9 diesel?

Maybe
up to MY 1999 the engine was more or less the same (D4192T) but from MY 2000 the S/V40 got a direct injection Diesel (D4192T2) and it will for shure not fit those ones.
