440 heated mirrors

Hi all



I have a 440 Li which can to me standard. since then i have added the electric front windows and power. heatedmirrors from a 460 gle i found in the breakers :o)



Although the power windows, and power mirror work, the heated bit seems not to work. I turn on my heated rear window switch and the widow clears but not the mirrors???? Would this be the heater elements in themirrors not working or is there something i have overlooked.


I only get the central looking to fit and i upgrade to a GLE....... woohoo not bad at £40

I can't speak specifically about the 440 (never seen one in the flesh), but when adding heated mirrors to the 740, the old 3 pin defroster switch/relay combo was replaced with a 4 pin unit...
