just done 88,000 in our old 440 gl Volvo - G reg. Not bad - many more years life in her yet we hope!!

I recently passed 257k on mine, no signs of trouble yet.
I had my ride in to Getty Automotive the other day for a couple of maintenance items, and I took his 88 740 GLE service loaner out for the day.
575,000 kms, guys...drove perfectly. Nothing at all wrong. I think that is kind of amazing. The engine has never been apart for a head gasket or anything like that. The B230 is an incredible thing.RS

We just did 142,000 (miles): Volvo 440 1.8i. Still runs as new.
