What tools, and how to change neutral safety start switch?

This job is a piece of cake. Don't be afraid to pull the carpet back around the lever toward the driver's pedals. There are some snap-on connections under there. Check your shift light wire while you are there. They rub and short over time.
One thing, to get the pie-shaped switch up and out of the assembly, don't be afraid to pull the stick to the side and pry away the switch so the pin will release.
