Anybody knows what kind of automatic gear was mounted in v70 in 12/1999 ?

Probably a derivative of Aisin-Warner AW3040, which is electronically controlled.

4 speed is Aisin Warner 50-42 5 speed is Aisin Warner 55-50

it is possible to read the error code from this automtic gear with laptop and some special software?
