How do you remove the radio from a 1996 850 wagon?

How do you remove the radio from a 1996 850 wagon? I'd like to replace it with a unit that also has the single CD player. I'm the third owner of the call and there is a very old (read "yea Olde Phone") mobile phone connected through the right side of the radio unit.

If I get a SC-816 unit (AM/FM/CD) that should fit exactly the same right?

Also, the plastic covering on the rear hatch-back type door is vibrating because several of the clips that hold it on are broken. Does anyone know what those clips are called or how I can describe them to a parts dealer so that I can obtain replacements? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. We really like our volvo, it's very reliable.

Very Respectfully,

charlie

Answer to question 1 to remove radio on both sides there are 2 very thin clips that you push in then they pop out then gently pull clips to there stops (toward you) Place shifter in N to remove radio

Answer to Question 2 the dealer should have all the clips in stock we just call them the tailgate panel clips there are 8 total 4 big 4 small the dealer also sells a repair kit to correct your complaint Glenn
