Ken, I have never heard of a lifetime warrenty with Volvo. It is a "car" albeit a better one than most but even Rolls Royce does not have a lifetime warrenty and it's "supposed to be" the best car on the road. My dad was a mechanic at a Volvo garage for over 25 years and there never was a lifetime warrenty back then when they really were Volvos not owned by Ford. In fact the small Volvo is just a rebodied Mazda 3 just like Ford's Escort used to be. Sorry. Keith
