Hi all,
I have some problems with the ECC on my S40 -98. When I turn on the fan, nothing happens and the REC and A/C buttons start to blink red. Some old articles mentioned that it could be a problem with the blower motor or a vent control motor. I've tested the blower motor connecting it directly to 12V and it works fine. Is there any way to test other components, or do I have to take it to the Volvo workshop to check error codes?
