S60 Vs. S80

I currently own a S60 and the lease is about to expire. I live on Long Island so we get a fair amount of snow. I was thinking about trading up to an S60 AWD. My only problem with the S60 is the leg room in the back seat.

My next choice for my next Volvo would be the S80.

Can anyone tell me how they like the S80 and if there is a significant amount of extra back seat room in it.

Thanks

Ed

There's a pretty fair amount of room in my S80.

V70 legroom is, as I recall, somewhere in between the S60 and S80, if you'd consider a wagon.

there is quite a bit more room in the back of a s80 vs. s60...you have to go to the dealer and sit in both...w/the fron seats fully slid back...i am 6'2 and notices a big difference...the s80 is just a larger / heavier sedan...both good and bad points to it...the awd s60 will drive more like a sports sedan...which it is...vs. the s80....

imho of course......

You know there is the exec version of the 80 that's got a longer wheelbase and has more rear seat room as a result...

That is a big shortcoming of the S60. For some reason Volvo downsized when the went from the 850/S70 generation to the S60. The S60 back seat is not big enough for comfortable travel for four full sized adults, while and 850 or S70 are.

Yes, it is much larger and more comfortable.
