Volvo 850 warning lights

Dec 30, 2005 2 Replies

H I have a 1994 volvo 850 and a warning light on the dash has come on and won't go out. My manual is in the glovebox and that has a broken lock so I can't get to it

The light is on the right side of the "oil" light and it looks a little like (o)

Can anybody tell me what it is for

Thank

handbrake mainly, but sometimes with low fluid or worn pads wired into it. Consult you manual ;)

I can fix both of your problems. Lots of people have fixed the glove box problem. Here are some of their solutions:

1)

opens the glove box by drilling a hole in the door and using a coat hanger to push the release open. Then he fixes it. 2)

does it by prying the door slightly so he can break away the catch. Then he fixes it. 3)

Now that you have opened your glove box, you can look up that warning light.
