My owner's manual and dealer both say I can set my remotes to trigger the seat memory (my wife has one remote, when she unlocks the door the seat and mirrors set up for her, when I unlock with mine, it sets up for me). Trouble is, I haven't gotten this feature to work yet and the manual instructions are not terribly clear. The procedure looks like it should be as follows:
put key in ignition, press memory button, wait for seats/mirrors to adjust, remove key, press unlock button on remote within 10 seconds, until tone is heard.
When I follow this procedure i don't get a tone, and nothing moves when I hit the unlock button. Am I doing this right? Or do I even have this option on my car?
