2.0 crossflow performance

Nov 11, 2003 2 Replies

what are good inexpensive hop ups for a 2.0 crossflow? A coworker just got one and would like a few more ponies. I suggested a TT exhaust but being an A1/A2 guy I don't know what else works. Cam? Intake? Exhaust manifold (is there a swap like the early Scirocco into a late A1?)

thanks

did he get oneof those K&N airfilters? i've seen chips for about 100 dollars, i've been wanting to get one. i put a TT exhaust on my 97 jetta..i like it.

Unless you get the cold air induction that repositions the air filter to bring in cold air don't get an open air element, just get a panel K&N filter. If you get the open air element that sits right inside the engine compartment next the engine all it does is suck in hot air and decrease performance.
