When car is started it does not sound like the fuel distribution system is running. If memory serves me, you can hear it humming.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

If it has the CIS fuel injection system, and the engine runs but the fuel distributor is no longer making the big buzzing sound... that would be your frequency valve no longer working. Typical cause for that electrical fault (as well as most electrical faults for that vintage) would be bad relay in the fuse panel under the dash. They quite often get water inside them from leaks around the windshield and/or beneath the rain tray.
