To all: I can't figure out why I am getting a P1562 fault code on my TDI -- The only description I can find for this ODBII Fault code is >> Quality Adjuster Control Upper Limit Value....I do not what this really means
-- I can tell that the engine is running too rich -- I am just not sure which sensor is not working properly...or waht exactly is wrong....
Symptoms... When I start up the car the Check Engine light comes on within 10 seconds ... along with the flashing light for the glow plug.... The glow plug relay harness was replaced a while back ... Not sure what the problem is... The car is running rich ...Idle is ok... Black smoke out of the tail pipe... It's running fine...except I can't get rid of the check engine light....some sites tell me that this is related to the engine Idle speed control .... I checked all vacum hoses and sensors... nothing is loose ... everything looks fine....
Hate to go to the dealer ... I just can't find much information on this P1562 fault code....
Any ideas how I can diagnos this problem? Could it be related to the MAF sensor or possibly a problem with the Injector pump?
