My passat still brakes smooth. There is an odd constant squeal that I suspect may be brakes. Last I looked pads we all ok. But I fugured 70k on VW was plenty so I plan to replace all pads front and back. Do I leave, turn or replace the rotors if the braking is still smooth. No pulsing at all.

Measure the rotor thickness for front and rear and post the results. front min is 23mm and rear is 8mm.
We haven't had caliper problems in my part of the country, Pennsylvania.
