I've installed a OEM keyless module in the wife's '96 Cabrio. The install was straightforward and the transmitter programmed just fine ............however.....it unlocks only, the lock function does not work. Any suggestions??
They(alarm ecu) will not lock the doors if it sees one of the swithces in the open mode. Such as the doors or hood, and even if the anti thieft switch is faulty in the OEM radio.
