all marks are lined up.car pops out the exhaust and wont start.any ideas????

I would doublecheck that piston Nr 1 is at TDC (trough the sparkplug hole), that both valves are closed on piston Nr 1 and cam equally balanced above the valve tip (by removing the valve cover) and that the rotor points to cylinder Nr 1 post (about five o clock if the car is heading at noon, but not all models so make sure)

al.

Sometimes the woodruff key, the one that locates the crank sprocket on the shaft, shears off allowing the sprocket to twist on the shaft and loose synch with the camshaft and auxiliary shaft.
