I have a 2001 1.8T jetta 69500km. The light is on. Is there a way to find out what is wrong. or to reset the check engine? Insome car there is a procedure to read a code and determine the problem. and some brand like GM has a reset switch. any help well be apreciate Thanks.

YOu need to buy a code reader, it plugs right in and tells you what the code is for. Then you take appropriate action to rectify the problem.
