The cigarette lighter in my 97 Jetta GT doesn't work. The light around it works (as does the radio and the trunk release, which the Haynes manual seemed to say shared Fuse 22).
The Bentley manual on page 97-275 (wiring diagram) shows a Cigarette Lighter Fuse as (behind fuse/relay panel). Do they mean that there is a separate fuse behind the actual fuse/relay grid or do they just mean the interior body panel that covers the fuse/relay grid?
Any ideas on what to look for to see why this is not working anymore?
