Fuse/amperages for 72 super beetle..anyone have an owner's manual?

There is a mismatched bunch of fuses in my fuse box, and I wish to replace all with correct amperage........the PO of this car has 5. 10. and 20 amp all over.............

Anyone have an owners manual and can tell me what goes where, including where the fuse for rear window defogger is?

There is no information in the owner's manual concerning the fuses. The fuse for the rear window defogger is under the rear seat on the left side. It's a

16 amp inline fuse in the wire that goes from the voltage regulator to a relay mounted over near the tunnel. If you're trying to get the defogger to work, it's more likely that the grid on the window itself is bad.

Here's a diagram of the fuse panel:

for fuses 9 and 11, which are 16 amp, all fuses in the fuse box are 8amp.

I didn't look but the Bentley or Haynes manuals probably have fuse information.

Yep, on my snazzy new bookshelves about ten feet to my right. I probably shouldn't mention that I recently saw one in about the same condition sell for $75 on Ebay. :-)
