FS:92 VW Cabriolet Carat-Flawless

I've got a 1992 VW Cabriolet which I acquired last fall (2002) while in NJ. The ONLY reason I got it was because the original owner I got it from never really drove it except during the Spring/Summer/Fall, and rarely at that. It was always garaged, and in pristine shape. Having had 2 before (a '86 & a '88), I told myself if I ever came across a top shelf perfect Cabriolet, I'd consider it.

Well, I fell in love with it. It had 27,090 ORIGINAL miles on it when I got it. It's black with black leather interior, power top, power windows, A/C, 5-speed, etc. As soon as I got it, I got a car cover, drove it about 300 miles before storing it for the winter. This spring, I put new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air, oil gas filters, wiper blades, etc., and drove it another 100 miles before moving to California.

The car now has 34,050 mile on it, and the very 1st thing I did when I got to California (San Jose) was to make an appointment with New Dimensions (VW Specialists) to go over it with a fine tooth comb. They did an alignment (4-wheel), balance (I put 4 new tires on here in CA at 31,000 miles), and made all required adjustments to make it

100% perfecto! I also had them put on a Neuspeed strut tower brace.

In any event, I did pay top dollar for this car, and did put in a few bucks. It's the finest example of this car you may ever find. I'm considering selling it simply because work here in Silicon Valley sucks, and I'm considering a move back to NJ where there is more opportunity for me.

It's worth each and every penny, especially if you are looking for the diamond in the rough.

This car is as close to perfect as you'll ever find.
