glof tdi 99 model no power help needed

Hi got a 99 golf gt tdi , after removing air filter and lowering the mode on my tuning box in order to gvet thru mot , I now find I have no power after returning to my previos settings...can any one help please?

Have you left the MAF disconnected ?
