Does anyone know why only a few lines that go across the back windscreen are working when i press the mister switch. A couple work then there are a few that dont work and finally a couple at the bottom again.
What causes this and how can i solve this problem?

They've been scratched and the voltage won't flow accross the scratch. Kits are available that allow you to patch the scratch with a conductive paint. First you must locate the scratch in each line, that's done with a multi meter. Next apply the template over the line in the area of the scratch and apply the paint, possibly heat with a hair dryer following directions. Yes it will show.
