I know it all depends on the drivers driving habits, but on average how long should a clutch disc and or assembly last in a 02 gti vr6.

I have replaced them anywhere from 50 miles to well over 100,000miles.
It all depends on the drivers driving habits.

These numbers are probably the correct as the extreme limits. No reason you shouldn't go 100,000 miles with a GTI and 150,000 miles with a Golf, minimum with a little care.

The original clutch stayed in my '85 until it was totaled at 385,000 km, this probably represents the upper end of the of the sheaf of possibilities.
