Hi everyone, On Golf 90' GL auto , I am going to replace my shocks , because they are bed. There is special tool to lock the upper bearing to the strut. Is anyone can help me find this tool to do the job. I have seen it in vw group , it look like socket with two little toots which tightens the locking nut down. Appreciate you help Dosio

It's easy to make one if you have access to a grinder. Get a socket of the connect size for the nut then find a spanner with jaws a bit smaller than the diameter of the socket. Use the grinder to grind down two flat surfaces on the side of the socket so that the spanner will fit over it. You can now use an allen key to hold the top of the strut and you can undo the nut with the socket and spanner.
