I want to replace all the brake fluid in my MK3 GTI - how much fluid would I need to do this? Someone told me about 3.5 litres - but this sounds a bit much to me.

3.5 liters, holy cow... i think they were thinking engine oil, not brake bluid, I'd say buy one can of super blue and your good to go. but i'm a novice.

i'd get a litre or dot4 spec fluid. that should do you. if you empty the reservoir before you start then you usually don't need as much. flush about
